Awesome Orientation: September 8, 2018

There is something magical about the Awesome Ambitions Kick-off event every year.

2018 marks 22 years Awesome Ambitions has been educating, empowering and inspiring Awesome Ambitions girls to set and achieve positive goals for their lives.  The September 8, 2018 event was filled with smiles and great expectations from dozens of new girls who joined Awesome Ambitions and the returning Awesome Ambitions girls. We enjoyed our traditional Lip-Sync Dance Contest. Girls divided into teams and the volunteers had a separate team.  They both dressed up in silly props and  performed to prearranged songs.   More than 20 volunteers  surrounded the girls and shared  why they are donating their time and their wishes for the girls.  Awesome Ambitions Founder and President, Cynthia Newsome  talked with the girls about understanding they have a destiny and purpose  and whatever they do in life, they should make a difference.  Each girl received a journal to chronicle her thoughts and meaningful memories of the upcoming Awesome Ambitions Sessions.
